When I started my career in the corporate world, I learned to become a ‘professional’ which for me meant to ingnore my needs or personal goals. I was a hard worker but out of fear of failing or being fired. I felt trapped in an endless surviving mode.
Needless to say, I wasn’t a good leader either. I was operating with ‘We just need to get things done attitude’ no matter the long hours and the cost on our personal lives. Frankly, I was reflecting the environments I worked in.
I was looking for a solution
Between constantly worrying about the future and the guilt about the past I had little energy left to focus on what was happening right in front of me and no wonder I was responding with frustration and irritability. Faced with the most pleasant activities I was looking forward to just getting over with.
I was always in search of relief, from the pressure I constantly felt inside. I was taking workshops and reading books but nothing seemed to help.
Coaching changed my life
After experiencing coaching firsthand, I became interested in becoming a coach myself. This is how I found iPEC. Little that I knew, the program not only prepared me to become an expert in the coaching process but also led me back to my authentic self, my potential and my true leadership. It not only gave me a career, it gave me a new way of being.
I started listening to my heart and intuition which apparently are smarter than just my brain. Instead of being concerned with ‘winning’ and ‘proving myself’ I came from a place of curiosity and non judgement. My relationships shifted. The opportunities started to open up right where I was, and I stopped being on a search for something new and extraordinary outside of myself to give me answers and relief to the struggle I felt inside.
Nowadays I make decisions faster and with more confidence. I get to experience more of what life has to offer, connect with more people on a deeper level, and more often than not I get to choose my experiences.

I was born in communist Romania.
I went to Law School.
I worked as a consultant for 2 of the Big 4 consulting firms.
I studied at Lee Strasberg Film and Theater Institute and acted in several short films and theater productions. Role play here we come!
Our daughter is the light of my life but our bishpoo Fluffy steals the show most of the time.

Learning – podcasts, books, documentaries.
Entrepreneurship -there are so many inspirational leaders who found their voice when they dared to follow their hearts.
I love:
Nature – hiking, walking, a day at the beach, you name it!
Spirituality – I meditate every day, I listen to different teachers for inspiration.
Travel – I love to see new places every year, so far we traveled around Europe, North and Central America.
Food – because let’s be honest the greatest moments in life are shared with good company over a great meal and wine.
